Tangled Woods

Walking around the woods I often come across these spiraling vines that climb the trees. It's beautiful but seems almost sad, as if the trees are caught and lost, unable to get home, it makes me want to free them from the vines.

With some minor editing I created a blue version to reflect how sad I feel for the trees. I darkened the exposure, cooled the temperature, and altered the contrast. The result is something I'm happy with but I'm not really sure which one I like better so I have shared the natural photo and the blue edited photo together.
