I have an educational brand that creates tools for learning. My goal is to transform my field art creatures into kid-friendly cartoon characters. I've decided to create guides for each one as a reference while I learn to create until I'm happy enough to print on the lesson tools. As always, I greatly appreciate critiques, ideas, and redlines. Cetch the Cottontail, Felix the Fox, and Otis the Owl are my brand's Original Three - meaning they were the first woodland creatures I painted, had printed, and sold. Below is what I consider their character guide details.

Want to create a piece with my characters? That would be awesome! If you do, please include their name and credit me. Thank you.

Cetch the Cottontail

my first woodland brand character

Cetch the Cottontail is the first of the "original three" so to speak. Cetch figuratively moved into the grove with a litter of kits back in March of 2014. Cetch is an eastern cottontail painted and inspired after the abundant eastern cottontails that live on our property. Their trails are used often enough that you can follow them even when there isn't snow on the ground. In the winter, there is a family of them that live in, what I believe, used to be a badger den under a tree.
